Doecho Studios was founded by Rami Tsalka in 2008.
The studio provides photography, videography, production and editing services for a variety of projects, such as documentation of conferences, exhibitions and movie sets, promotional videos for businesses, and architectural, product and live shows photography.
Doecho Studios also engages in the producing and planning of artistic initiatives and projects, sometimes as a curator and other times as partner.
Doecho Studios takes pride in its wide variety of clients, such as Tel-Aviv University, The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Frankfurt University, The Israeli Opera House, The Knesset, Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, The Mizrachi Foundation, Dockweiler Middle East and more.
The studio is powered by fresh coffee, preferably French press or moka pot, and a genuine passion for video and stills photography that leaves us no other choice.
The name Doecho was inspired by a line from Norman Mailer’s book “An American Dream” –
an echo of some other night (some other life).”
We believe that there is nothing greater or more satisfying than creating an impression that leaves a mark and continues to resonate even after its end. This is what we strive to achieve both for our clients and for our own artistic and social work.
Rami Tsalka
Hey, I’m Rami.
I am a photographer, painter, artist, editor, and producer (the order depends on the day). I studied film in Italy, and have been working in photography – and all its derivatives – for about 20 years now.
Other than my love for photography, I also bring with me a vast technical knowledge that I’m constantly developing and expanding, both by facing photographic challenges and adopting new technologies and equipment.
Aside from my professional work at Doecho, I also initiate and participate in non-profit projects that deal with burning social causes. My voluntary activities are driven by a sense of responsibility towards social issues that, I believe, are not receiving the public attention they deserve.
