“HaMerkazit” ∙ Artistic social project ∙ Initiative, Production, Still photography

“HaMerkazit” project took place at the old central bus station in Tel Aviv. The project sought to include artistic content and visual information in “problematic” urban areas that suffer from neglect and are forced to deal with raising tensions between the different populations that are living in them. The belief that led us is that art can make a change precisely where it is not expected. Even if it won’t improve the situation immediately, it would at least draw attention to the subject. The goal was to make the audience look directly at a reality that is usually overlooked.
